Types of Fingerprints

There are two different types of fingerprinting services, Live Scan and Traditional Ink. Each type of fingerprinting has its own requirements, and are used for different purposes. It's important to know which type of prints you need before booking your appointment.

Live Scan Fingerprinting

Live Scan is a type of fingerprinting that electronically scans your finger or palm to take prints that are then electronically delivered to their respective agency. These fingerprints can be used for reporting agencies in the state of Michigan.
